Black Biscuit - Anonymous
Inimitable rappers / songwriters Black Biscuit (otherwise known as Littlen and Raks) are back, kicking off 2011 with a seismic sized bang of a single titled 'Anonymous'.
Having amassed a devoted following across the UK from various nationwide club and school tours, BB is a name which is rapidly becoming recognized as hot product, with some of the UK's leading music media (including MTV, BBC 1xtra, Flava TV, Kiss and Choice) already pledging their support to the Black Biscuit cause.
Their previous smash singles ('Who's Skanking The Hardest' and 'We're Fly') both set the bar emphatically high for the future sound of BB, and 'Anonymous', along with the awe-inspiring music video, not only surpasses this bar, but smashes it to pieces.
With it's pulsating synths, effortless piano overtones and anthemic vocals, this latest offering is nothing short of impressive. And the official video, which was all shot in one take on location in a central London subway tunnel, is arguably one of the most original independent music videos we'll see all year.
Black Biscuit may still be an unknown quantity to many, but with an abundance of talent, drive and creativity, it's unlikely that Littlen and Raks will be anonymous for much longer.
